Robert James Pannebaker, Sr

On December 15, 2014, Robert "Bob" James Pannebaker, Sr.; beloved husband of Debra Gail Pannebaker (nee Lightner); devoted father of Robert Pannebaker, Jr. and his wife Candace, Jennifer Beyer and her boyfriend Chris Stachowski; dear grandfather of Devin Beyer, Riley Pannebaker and Ethan Pannebaker; loving son of the late Maxine Elizabeth Pannebaker (nee Bassler) and the late Clifford Henry Pannebaker; brother of Cindy Pannebaker; Mary Hickman and her husband David, Bill Pannebaker and his wife Betty and the late Russell Pannebaker; son-in-law of Katherine Lightner (nee Newlen) and the late Wallace Lightner; brother-in-law of Denise Lightner, Diane Butler and her late husband Jeff, Marshall Lightner and his wife Cathy, Stephen Lightner and his wife Peggy, Jeff Lightner and his wife Kathy.  Also survived by several other loving relatives and friends.

Robert was a 1967 graduate of Kenwood Senior High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in November of 1970. He had a long and dedicated career for over 40 years at the Sparrows Point Ship Yard as an employee for Bethlehem Steel (BethShip), Baltimore Marine Industries, and Barletta Willis Investments. In his retirement, he enjoyed vacationing at the beach, spending time with his loving wife of 40 years, watching his children and grandchildren grow, and relaxing at home with his loving dog Roscoe.

A private cremation was held.  Arrangements by the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.
