Ronni Sue Valentino

September 28th, 1967 - November 6th, 2024

Ronni Sue Valentino, formerly of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 6th, 2024, in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Cherie G. (Sheidy) and Carl L. Valentino.

Ronni is survived by her daughter, Amanda and her husband Jason Hall from South Plainfield, NJ; grandchildren Noah and Nora; brother Rev. Dr. Timothy R. Valentino and his wife Sonya, of Myerstown, Pa., and sister Debbie Mertz and her husband Randy, of Danielsville, Pa. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Bradley Valentino and his wife Nicole, Andrew Valentino, Bethany White and her husband Micah, and Sandra Valentino. Ronni also leaves behind her long-time partner, John Madron, of Oxford, Pa., and her grand nephews and nieces, Gabriella, Alexander, Samuel, and Levi. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Simons, Jr., parents, Carl L. and Cherie G. Valentino, and brother, Robert C. Valentino. She leaves behind many friends whom she considered family.

Ronni adored being with her grandchildren and her family. Noah and Nora will remember most that she loved cuddling and watching movies, playing games, singing Taylor Swift with Nora, and playing sports with Noah. Her family will remember her as a free-spirit and a spitfire, who loved everything and everyone. She was extremely talented in the kitchen and loved cooking for family and friends and her signature dish, bruschetta. She loved the holidays and enjoyed anything that allowed her to be creative. Her favorite hobbies were painting, jewelry making, flower arranging, gardening, and writing. She was an avid music lover, enjoying Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, and most anything from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Ronni would say that she always felt most at peace by the water; whether it be poolside as a child or with her husband Frank at Rainbow Ave, or most recently on her SeaDoo or houseboat. She spent over 20 years with her late husband, Frank, always remembering the fun times they would have dancing the night away at the Riveredge. Most recently she was able to spend the last few months of her life with her brother and sister-in-law, traveling to the mountains to be with her big cousin Cathie of Hawley, Pa., and being with her partner John who was very loving and doting during her final weeks.

A private cremation was held.
