On September 9, 2016, Russell Allen Peterson,

beloved husband of Bonita Mary Peterson (nee Emkey);

devoted father of Michael Peterson and his wife Tonya,

Raina Peterson - Rogge and her husband Mark Erquitt,

William Gilbow, Jr. and his wife Stacy, SSgt Brandon Gilbow;

dear brother of Jeffrey Frantz, Chris Peterson,

Susan Peterson - Sutton, Laurie Peterson - Sheetz.

Also survived by six grand children.

A private cremation was held.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home PA 107 Old Eastern Avenue Essex, Maryland 21221 at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday from 7 to 8 pm.

A Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 pm.

At Russell's request, the family will be collecting these memorial donations at the Funeral Home and delivering them as a group to the American Lung Association 1200 Hosford Street, Suite 101 Hudson, WI 54016-9316. Please make these donations in the form of a check addressed to American Lung Association, National Direct Response Headquarters in Russell's name.
