Spangler (nee Cook); Loving father of Terry Lee Capps and husband John, Barbara Johnson and Wendy Foy; Cherished grandfather of Benjamin Russell Peace and wife Jean, Stacey Lynn Peace (Rosa) and husband Tom, Mark S. Hewitt, Sarah E. Johnson, Mary E. Johnson, Brittany L. Kolb and husband Keith and Edward N. Foy III; Dear great grandfather of Eric Giacobbe, Olivia Peace, Abigail Peace, Grayson Rosa, Hadley Rosa, Kylie Hewitt Palmer, Brianna Ashwell, and Brycen Vance; Predeceased by his parents George and Pauline Spangler, sisters Joan Schaffer, and Linda Keys, and grandchildren Rae Ann Sutt and Katie LeeAnn Foy. Also survived by his sister Nancy and husband Chris Wallis.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday and Friday from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral service on Saturday at 10 am in Calvary Baptist Church 7321 Manchester Road Dundalk, Maryland 21222. A viewing will be held in church from 9:30-10:00am on Saturday. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
