Shahazad "Jacob" Bhola

On Tuesday, October 02, 2012 Shahazad  "Jacob" Bhola.

Jacob Bhola was the third son of Joseph and Jasodia Bhola.  Born in Providence, Guyana South America on December 2nd,1919.  Jacob, as his friends and family called him, loved life and the outdoors.  He was always full of laughter.  He grew up in Brighton Village and as a child he loved the outdoors and developed a passion horses.  He never completed his schooling as he began working at the age of 5 to support his family and other siblings.

He married Dhanmattie on March 11th, 1947.  The couple together were blessed with 12 children; Cecelia, Kenneth, Modas, Barbara, Dora, Gali, Puncha, Radhica, Mohini, Devika, Shanta, and Narupa.  The family moved to the United States in the early 1980's.  One of his biggest loves were the 26 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. He leaves behind his wife and twelve children along with daughter-in-law; Wanda Bhola, son-in laws; Deo, Jeffrey, Wesley, George,Fizal, Gopal,and Edward, sisters;  Sue and Doreen, brothers; Norman and Walter.  He was proceeded in death by sisters: Eva, and Elizabeth, brothers; Ghandi, Kaza and Isaac.

Our memories of Jacob will always be of a robust and happy man who cherrished his family more than anything.  While he was never the type to provide huggs and kisses he was always a loving father and husband.  He was a wonderful combination of strength and stubborness. He loved to sing and entertain his friends and family. Cookouts and family gatherings were one of
his favorite past times.  He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, reading and watching his favorite soap operas' "The Young and The Restless" and "Jerry Springer".

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Friday from 5 to 9 PM.  Funeral service on Saturday at 11:00 AM.  Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
