Sharon Ann Beddoe

August 4, 1945 - September 19, 2023

Sharon Ann Beddoe (August 4, 1945) passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023, surrounded by love. Her warrior spirit, concern for others, and infamous wit were on full display until the end. Making her journey through life on her terms, in typical Sharon fashion!

Sharon was a proud Catholic High graduate despite breaking every rule as a student. She loved the water, from swimming competitively as a child to waterfront living as an adult. She socialized every chance she could. Sharon made friends everywhere she went and all of them held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed dancing and mixed the finest Bloody Mary around. She made the best of tough situations and was extremely generous, even when she didn’t have much to give. Having fun was always a top priority and she enjoyed her life to the fullest.

Sharon is the beloved wife of Robert (Bob)Beddoe. She loved him with all her heart for almost 30 years. They treasured each other and Bob was an excellent caregiver. Sharon is the devoted mother of Heather Stewart and the cherished grandmother of Adam and Blake Stewart. Even though Heather moved away, the miles apart never diminished the connection between them. Sharon’s grandsons were her absolute pride and joy, and they love their Gege fiercely. We are all so fortunate to have been loved by her so deeply.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Keswick Multi-Care Center for all the care and compassion they gave during Sharon’s last three months. And additionally, to the amazing Gilchrist hospice staff. A special note of appreciation to lifelong friend who is really family, Cheryl Bruns for all the support, love, and laughter for decades but especially during the toughest days. Special thank you and recognition to Mary Jo Puglisi for the memories shared with our mother in the last few years, you have a sister for life.

Sharon joins her parents John and Winifred Friedel and her sister, Charlotte, in heaven. We are grateful to know that she is finally at peace and dancing again. She will be dearly missed and always remembered. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
