NOVEMBER 28, 1964 ~ OCTOBER 15, 2019 (AGE 54)

On October 14th, Shirley left us on her own terms. Shirley touched the lives of many people through her journey of life. She will be sorely missed.   We all know her love for people from all walks of life, animals, the mountains and rivers, and her tools for building and making things was undeniable.

Shirley was actively raising money for St Jude- End Childhood Cancer, with her co-workers from Amazon. In lieu of flowers we are asking you to donate on her behalf to St. Jude. Go to Shirley’s Facebook page and scroll to Sept. 20th for details. Thank You.

Shirley is being cremated.  There will be a memorial service at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 22nd beginning at 7 pm with a gathering prior from 6 to 7 pm. A gathering of life at Alice’s to follow. You are welcome to join us to share stories, hugs, laughs and tears.

Shirley leaves behind and missed by: Diane Lake, mother and the late John Lake, stepfather. Stephen Goding Sr. father, Siblings: Darlene Goding, Stephen Goding Jr. and wife Debbie Goding, Ami Goding, Kathy Butler, Jeffrey Lake, Robert Lake. Aunts : Theresa Starrett, Susan Sullivan, Jo-Anne Shea. Shirley was an aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley also had many cousins to whom she was close to.  She also leaves behind her best friend and dog, Blade, her companion dog for many years and an integral part of her life.
