Stephen Joseph Conrad
March 20, 1985 - August 11, 2022
Stephen Joseph Conrad, a U.S. Army Veteran, passed away on August 11th in Tuscan Arizona at the age of 37. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Stephen was a loving son of Frederick Conrad III and Deborah Conrad; a caring brother of David Conrad (Dorothy) and Michael Conrad (Raquel). Stephen was a cherished grandson of Frederick Conrad Jr. (Faye) the late Connie Stahl (George), as well as the late Clarence Woodie and Essie Woodie. Stephen was survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and a host of longtime friends.
Those who knew Stephen would describe him as a creative and kind soul possessing a warming personality and beautiful smile. He enjoyed travel, music, writing, and exploring. Being surrounded by the natural world of the outdoors and seeking peace in it’s environment, is where Stephen felt most at home. He shared a deep connection with animals, loved children, and shared a tender heart for those who were suffering or less fortunate.
Stephen was a competitive Athlete, winning the Maryland State Wrestling title in his sophomore year at North Harford High. For those who knew him, he will be remembered in a way that is uniquely special for them. Someone who was loving, kind, loyal, confident, humorous and caring, would be common qualities expressed. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
