Beloved husband of Joan Koerner (nee Foster); devoted father of Michael Koerner and his fiancée Amber Brenneman, and Brittany Koerner and her fiancé John Hollis; loving step-father of William Foster and his fiancee Lisa Weber, and Shane Benny; cherished grandfather of Kimberley Koerner, Paije Koerner, Destiny Koerner, Tristan Koerner, Trinity Makin, Ethan Hollis, Evan Hollis, and Jordan Hollis; cherished step-grandfather of Serenity Foster, Sadie Mae Foster, Keelan Foster, and William Foster Jr.; loving son of Mary and the late Edward Koerner; dear brother of Charles Koerner and his wife Deborah, Sharon Koerner and her late husband Vincent Elliott, the late Thomas Koerner and his surviving wife Katherine, and the late Michael Koerner. Also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

A private cremation was held.
