On June 25, 2024, Steven G. Bromwell passed away. Beloved husband of Sally Horsey and Connie Bromwell; devoted father of Cindy Mattheiss, Michelle Bromwell, Meghan Bromwell, Nikki Bromwell, Tiffanie Bromwell, and Taylor Bromwell; cherished grandfather of Justin Bromwell, Scott Mattheiss, Madilyn Pytrykow, Kaelyn Pytrykow, Brandon Pytrykow, Brooks Montgomery, and Nola Zahradka; loving great-grandfather of Henley and Gaige Bromwell; dear son of the late Margaret (nee Glading) and James E. Bromwell, Jr.

In addition to spending time with his children and grandchildren, Steven enjoyed fishing, and hunting, volunteering as an EMT Firefighter for Rockaway Beach Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed listening to, and playing music. He was a member of several bands, and was an avid racer and motorcyclist.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and Friday, June 28, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7PM.  Funeral services will follow on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 7 PM. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers , contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
