Steven Thomas Cammarata
Born:  July 14, 1949, Died December 14, 2010

The angels came and took my brother away on December 14, 2010 and even though he was not on this earth but a short 61 years he left his mark on everyone he touched.  As a young boy steve loved sports especially baseball, he made our Dad  fill up with so much pride when he hit the winning run in 1958 little league baseball team and his whole team lifted him up on their shoulders and  cheer him on as there hero for winning the game and the championship that day.

As steve grew into a young man it was clear to see that he was a giving and good person, he loved his family and was always there for everyone. As his little sister he aways was my big brother and hero and protector never letting anyone hurt me, there were times when he had to standup against people that he felt were being mean towards me never letting them hurt or abuse me, we did so much together as kids we were inseperable, as we grew up we both loved all the same things, sports, going out and dancing to the wee hours of the night, riding around in souped up cars and just being carefree kids.

When steve became a young man and he got married he was very committed to his family and the love that he had for his kids he was always a good father and provider never did he waived in his love for Tommy and Marie, his little girl was the light of his life he was so proud when for the first time he became a father and held Marie in his arms, the look on his face the day that she was born said it all that he now had another little girl in his life that he would love and protector the rest of his life.

Steve as a man had many passions but his greatest passion was when he became a Barber and opened up his own shop for 20 plus years steve went into that shop everyday with a smile on his face and a joke to tell each customer that sat in his chair he aways made sure that his customers left his shop laughing and sometimes shaking their heads at some of his crazy jokes they may not have aways gotten his punch-lines but they loved steve anyway.

Then just some short 10 years ago an angel by the name of Margie came into his life, I will never forget the day that they got married on the beach in Ocean City their they stood hand in hand with the ocean at their backs exchanging there vows and love for each other while the tourist on the boardwalk stood and stared and cheered them on when the pastor told them that now  they could kiss for the first time as man and wife. It was a day filled with love and joy that would last for the rest of their lives.

We know not why, God took steve so soon ,our hearts are heavy and we are filled with grief  but as I watched my brother slipping away from this life I also saw an angel who was his wife, she never once left his side she never waivered in her strength to give my brother the love and care that only she could give for she truly was an angel and  a loving wife. My brother was so lucky to have found Margie towards the end of his life but they managed to fill the short time they had together with love for each other and together they loved their family and there life.

Margie, Marie, Mark Tommy and April today we give back steve to our heavenly father who has found a place in heaven for our brother, father, and husband, he will be greatly missed by us all ,family and friends alike, we may never  be able to see him again in this life but we all know that he will be waiting and watching over us ,and when it is time for our own journey home he will be there to guide us through the light, to all be together again in our next life.

Steve you were my brother and one of the greatest loves of my life I will cherish your memory for the rest of my life I miss you bro and all that we had but am happy now that you are at peace and with Mom and Dad.
