On April 2, 2024, Sue Ellen Jacoby passed away. Beloved wife of Ronald Jacoby; devoted mother of Wendy Sue Hershberger and her husband Rob, Brian Michael Jacoby and his wife Trisha, and Kelly Sue Bainbridge and her husband James; cherished grandmother of Nathan Jacoby, Jake Bainbridge, Rebecca Jacoby, Justin Bainbridge, Luke Hershberger, Isaiah Bainbridge, and Cole Hershberger; dear sister of Frederick Kidd and the late Kay Doster. Also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

Sue never lived far from her birthplace of Essex, Maryland. She grew up on Montrose Avenue. Sue was an active member of the Essex community. She volunteered at Essex Elementary School, and served on the church board at Victory Villa Community Church. She was a member of the Essex Home-makers and took painting and craft classes at the Essex Senior Center.

Sue and Ron spent many winters in Fort Myers, Florida, at Corkscrew Woodlands, where they had many friends and she continued her painting, and water aerobics.

Her last few years have been spent at their waterfront home, "The Shore", enjoying as much time as she could with her kids, and grandkids.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024, at the family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex (beltway exit 36) at 12:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
