On August 31, 2014, Vaughn Edward Simmons Sr., beloved husband of Sandra Marie Simmons (nee Buechler); brother of Douglas Simmons; devoted father of Vaughn Simmons Jr. and his wife Amy, Dawn Burnham and her husband Brian; dear grandfather of Hailey Burnham, Riley Burnham, Michael Simmons, Abby Simmons and the late Alex Simmons.


Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service on Friday at 1:00 pm in Mars Hill Baptist Church 1400 Old Eastern Ave. Essex, Maryland 21221. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
