October 29, 1927 - January 22, 2020

On January 22, 2020, Violet Geneva McElwee (nee Edmond); Beloved wife of the late Jewel McElwee; Devoted mother Geneva Jacobs, Sandra Lachnit and her husband John, and Jim McElwee and his wife Lois; Dear sister of Robert Edmond. Also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of other loving family members and friends. Violet was preceded in death by her brothers, Lando and Tom Edmond, and one granddaughter.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services on Monday at 10:00 am.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
