On June 18, 2011, Virginia Louise; beloved wife of the late Cossie Stanley Holcomb; devoted mother of Eloise Schertle; loving grandmother of Anna Thornton and her husband Buddy, SSG. Charles Schertle, Jr. and his wife Angela and the late James Michael Campagna; dear great-grandmother of Charles Schertle, III, Darby Bennett, Christopher Schertle, Brittany Campagna and Tabitha Campagna. Also survived by 4  brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (Beltway Exit 36) on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service Saturday 1 PM. Interment Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
