On October 15, 2023, Vivian Loraine Adkins passed away. Beloved wife of the late Richard Sligh, the late William Bryant, and the late Buddy Adkins; devoted mother of the late Donald "Wayne" Sligh, Leonard "Rick" Sligh and his wife Leslie, Brenda Bernsten and her husband Paul, and the late Kenneth Sligh. Also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services on Thursday at 10:00 am.  Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
