Beloved husband of the late Marquerite E. Rittenhouse. Devoted father of Jack Lewis, Phylis Wagenfuehr, Sharon Smith, Denise A. Pitsenbarger, Audrey Dabbs and Walter E. Rittenhouse Jr. Also Survived by eighteen (18) grandchildren, thirty-six (36) great grandchildren and two (2) great great grandchildren..

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A. 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday July 19th, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Funeral service will be held on Friday July 20th, 2018 at 9:00 AM.  Interment, Maryland Veterans Cemetery Garrison Forest.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Walter's name to either:
