Walter Ray Spangler passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, at 4:07 AM. The son of the late Virginia A. Spangler. He is survived by his siblings, Donna Combs (Rob), Frank Spangler (Martha), George Spangler, Joe Spangler, Kathy Livengood (Brian), and Ray Spangler (Jeannie). Walter is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Walter loved playing outside with everyone in the family. As he aged, his passion had become watching old TV.... Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Gilligan's Island, Bewitched, etc.

Walter loved eating almost anything that you put in front of him, but his absolute favorite was McDonald's burgers and fries. Who really enjoys going to a doctors appointment?... Walter did, because it usually meant a stop at McDonald's on the way home.

Walter's signature was always a "Thank you", and a handshake. This was to doctors, receptionists, and most importantly, to anyone who cared for him including the staff at the home where he lived, all of them, but especially his dear Sean. God Bless them all.
