Devoted father of Elizabeth Whitlock, William Taylor III, Mitchell Taylor, the late Joseph William Taylor, the late Deborah Ann Penn, and the late Michelle Lynn Taylor; former husband of Delores Deering Taylor; dear brother of Kitty Clarke, and the late Thomas Taylor. Also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, and many other loving family members and friends.
