On Saturday, June 25, 2022, Dorothy Elaine Kommalan passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Beloved wife of Robert Kommalan Jr. Loving mother of Misty Runk and her husband Richard, and RJ Kommalan and his wife Rachel. Cherished sister of Theresa Kluver and her husband Tony, and the late Randy Scott. Grandmother of Ben, Ethan, Landen, Katalina, and Becca. Aunt of Toni Michelle and her husband Tim, Shaun and his wife Nikki, and the late Becky. Aunt-in-law of Bob. Dorothy is also survived by many other loving family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends and family may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 1 PM.  Entombment to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
