On June 27, 2022, Kathleen Lehman, passed away. Beloved wife of Dale Lehman; devoted mother of Andrea Bullock and her husband Bill, Geoffrey Lehman, Melissa Ward and her husband Matthew, Jocelyn Lehman, and Elizabeth Hamilton and her husband Joe; cherished grandmother of Bridget Bullock, Samara Greear, Gabriel Greear, Rose Ward, Eve Ward, and Orion Hamilton; loving daughter of the late Charles and Martha Kettler. Also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

Books and music were Kathleen's constant companions. Her broad interests ranged from history and religion to nature and classic literature. In music, she loved classical, opera, folk, rock, and country/western. She worked for a few years at Poplar Creek Library in Streamwood, Illinois until the family moved to Baltimore. In her later years, she served as editor for One Voice Press, a small publishing company she co-owned with her husband Dale. Kathleen not only raised her own children but also offered her home as a safe haven for a number of her children's friends who were struggling with difficult family situations. Some of them still call her "mom." In the final years of her life, she devoted herself to the Catholic Church through both study and service. Before her illness precluded it, she served as a eucharistic minister at Franklin Square Hospital.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1704 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, MD. 21221, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10:00 am.  Interment Saint Joseph Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Maryland Food Bank.
