Kelly James Comer

Kelly James Comer, Sr., 61, of Dundalk, Maryland passed away on March 7, 2023 surrounded by family.

He was born on July 27, 1961 in Waukegan, Illinois, raised in Winslow, Indiana and moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he graduated from Overlea Highschool in 1979.

Kelly is survived by the love of his life Karen Comer, who were wed June 1, 1996. In addition our his children: Tiffany Levin and husband Lou, Kelly Comer, Jr. and wife Ashley, Stephanie Comer, Atlas Comer, Joshua Clary and Emily Comer; his dear grandchildren Oliver and Chloe Comer whom were the apple of his eye. He is also survived by his sister Pam Anderson. Kelly is preceded in death by his mother and step-father Judy and Frank Haywood, brother Kevin Comer and sister Kimberly Wentzel.

Kelly was a maintenance superintendent at Harper House Condominiums for 36 years. During that time, he was beloved by the residents and staff, and established lasting relationships with anyone he met as he has a heart of gold and would help anyone in need.

He belonged to the American Pool Players Association and Maryland Bass Nation for over 30 years while coaching several boys & girls baseball and basketball leagues. He was also a Cub Scout Master and also belonged to many community league clubs.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service on Wednesday at 11 am in Freedom Baptist Church 7001 German Hill Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Kelly's name to a charity of your choice.
